Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, possess strong problem-solving skills and thoughtful technical insights. This role involves all phases of designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components from conceptualization to construction documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports for power distribution and electrical systems.
  • Travel to site and evaluate existing systems and obtain data.
  • Develop One-line diagrams and electrical room layouts.
  • Develop Raceway and Wiring layouts and schedules.
  • Lighting and Grounding System design.
  • Specification of Switchgear, Transformers, MCC’s, Power Panels and associated Electrical Equipment.
  • Power Analysis utilizing Easy Power and/or SKM.
  • o Short Circuit analysis
  • o Arc Flash Analysis
  • o Protective Device Coordination
  • Commission Support for electrical systems.
  • Familiar with appropriate codes and standards including NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, etc.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of schematics and ability to create detailed electrical designs.
  • Familiarity with debugging techniques for troubleshooting electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of logic controllers and their applications in automation.
  • Ability to work in both office and remote location as required

Qualifications

  • The candidate must have 5+ years of experience.
  • Engineers must have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering
