Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a driven, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and support continued growth at our full-service property. This leadership role is responsible for directing Front Desk, Housekeeping, Restaurant/Food & Beverage, and overall guest service execution while ensuring exceptional operational performance, team accountability, and guest satisfaction.

The Operations Manager serves as a key property leader and works closely with the General Manager to maintain service excellence, drive profitability, and strengthen departmental performance.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader ready to take on broad operational oversight in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete and maintain a structured daily Operations Manager checklist to ensure consistent oversight of all major operational departments, property standards, inspections, and accountability measures each shift
  • Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Desk, Housekeeping, Restaurant, and guest service departments
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through strong service standards and operational consistency
  • Lead hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management for multiple departments
  • Monitor labor costs, productivity, and departmental efficiency
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
  • Resolve guest concerns and escalations professionally and efficiently
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, safety, and brand compliance
  • Utilize daily checklist systems to monitor Front Desk, Housekeeping, Restaurant/Food & Beverage, maintenance coordination, guest satisfaction, and departmental execution
  • Maintain operational standards, policy enforcement, and service quality
  • Support revenue growth through operational excellence and strategic leadership
  • Act as senior operational leader during assigned shifts and in the absence of the General Manager
QualificationsRequired:
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel or hospitality leadership experience
  • Experience managing multiple operational departments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage guest satisfaction and service recovery
  • Financial awareness, labor management, and operational accountability
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
  • Full-service hotel experience
  • Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage management experience
  • Hilton or branded hotel experience
  • Hospitality or business degree
Compensation & Schedule
  • Full-Time Salaried Position
  • Consistent 48-hour weekly schedule
  • Weekend and holiday availability required
Standard Schedule:
  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
