Position Overview:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring superior guest experiences, and supporting all departments to maintain high performance and service standards. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership style, excellent interpersonal skills, and brand-aligned service knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in the daily management of hotel operations across all departments (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, etc.).

  • Lead and mentor department managers and staff to drive performance, service excellence, and guest satisfaction.

  • Ensure brand standards and service protocols are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Monitor and analyze hotel performance metrics, including occupancy, revenue, guest satisfaction, and operating costs.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy and revenue through effective strategies and local partnerships.

  • Manage guest relations and resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management processes in collaboration with department heads.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Assistant General Manager or senior operational leadership role within a full-service hotel.

  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial acumen, and guest service principles.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
