Hotel Location: Redmond Inn: 17601 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052
Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager on Duty to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our business. The Manager on Duty will be responsible for managing a team of employees, overseeing the budget and financial performance of the hotel, and developing and implementing strategies for growth and success. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations
  • Manage reservations and check guests in and out using a computerized system
  • Develop and implement strategies for growth and success, including identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes
  • Monitor market trends and adapt to changing business needs
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with grace and professionalism
  • Perform light cleaning duties, such as wiping down counters and restocking supplies
  • Must be able to lead housekeeping department as needed, particularly in absence of Head Housekeeper
  • Must have a valid driver license and able to support occasional hotel shuttle needs
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and management
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
