Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring the restaurant/bar operates smoothly with a focus on hospitality and providing an exceptional experience for the customer. The Restaurant/ Hospitality Manager will grow and promote the business and ensure patrons receive high quality beverages, food and service. In addition, this role will manage inventory, plan promotional events and ensure quality and safety controls are followed accordingly.

Work Experience
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Manages the business and customer service aspects of the bar/ restaurant including keeping a current bartenders license, assisting in negotiating supplier contracts, managing inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Develop and optimize the Coffee, Bar and Food menus for all locations based on guest feedback
  • Develops, plans and implements promotional, and special events
  • Provides exceptional customer service to guests; creates a lively and warm environment
  • Maintains current, required licenses and vendor contracts; stays informed of current rules and regulations.
  • Manages preparation and service of food menu
  • Sets business goals to increase sales and maximize customer satisfaction..
  • Works with Safety and Sanitation leaders to set and enforce quality and safety controls.
  • Ensures the bar is appropriately staffed at all hours in alignment with the business needs with well-trained customer service representatives.
  • Implements and manages best in class standard operating procedures and practices
  • Trains and coaches associates on standard operating procedures.
  • Manages inventory and orders products according to the needs of the business.
  • Builds customer relationships and grows customer base.
  • Partners with other Department Managers to promote the bar and associated events to drive sales through theater events.
  • Ensures 100% compliance to all state and local regulations
  • Completes other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma; completion of a vocation course in bartending preferred
  • Minimum of two years of previous experience in a food and beverage facility or establishment with previous restaurant management experience
  • Complete understanding of all equipment, including juicers, specialty coffee beverages as well as high end liquor selections
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a high sense of urgency to exceed expectations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; is energetic and passionate about helping customers
  • Ability to think critically, problem solve and be keenly observant
  • Must be 21 or older with extensive working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including but not limited to high-end bourbons and liquors
  • Proficient with point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and safety/sanitation compliance
  • Previous experience with ordering product a must
  • Strong ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflict
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs
