Job Summary
The Assistant Hospitality Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who can seamlessly balance floor management, team training, and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment..

Work Experience
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Maintain a strong floor presence during peak hours to ensure smooth operations and high service standards.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including facility securing and daily cash drop audits.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, liquor laws, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Staff Leadership & Training
  • Onboard, train, and continuously develop front-line team members to uphold service standards.
  • Create and optimize weekly staff schedules to meet labor targets and operational demands.
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, policy updates, and daily specials.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Track, audit, and order supplies and inventory to prevent shortages and control waste.
  • Oversee daily till reconciliation, petty cash tracking, and safe audits.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with tracking daily costs, revenues, and payroll processing.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience in hotels, resorts, or full-service restaurants.
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, scheduling software, and basic office programs.
  • Excellent communication, strong conflict resolution, and proven time management abilities.
  • Current food handler and alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
  • Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
