We are seeking a polished and hospitable individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess at a prestigious fine dining French restaurant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, providing a positive first impression and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the reservation system efficiently, including taking reservations, confirming bookings, and organizing seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, table availability, and any special requests or accommodations needed.
  • Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth seating and dining transitions.
  • Assist in managing the guest waiting list during peak dining hours, prioritizing reservations and walk-in guests appropriately.
  • Monitor dining room activity and anticipate guest needs, proactively addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Provide accurate information about the restaurant, including menus, specials, promotions, and upcoming events.
