Job description

Teacher Assistant - Childcare Infant Program

Horizon Education Centers | Lorain Counties 
Pay: $14.00-$15.50/hr

Horizon Education Centers Berea location is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Room Teacher Assistant to support our program. In this role, you'll help create a safe, engaging learning environment while working alongside experienced educators to support children's growth and development. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with daily activities and lesson plans 

  • Supervise and engage children in a safe, positive environment 

  • Support classroom management and meal service 

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff 

  • Maintain records and classroom organization  

Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Childcare experience required 

  • Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented 

  • Genuine passion for working with children 

  • Ability to pass background checks and lift up to 40 lbs.
