Performance Shop Service Advisor – Fast Specialties

Are you passionate about hot rods, race cars, performance builds, and automotive culture? Want to build a career where you get to work around high-horsepower projects every day while being part of a rapidly growing operation? Fast Specialties is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and driven Service Advisor to join our expanding team.

Our operation is unlike almost anything else in the Pacific Northwest. We combine a high-performance speed shop and chassis dyno facility with the structure and volume of a modern dealership service department. One minute you may be writing up a basic maintenance service, and the next you could be coordinating an LS swap, supercharger installation, dyno tuning session, standalone ECU setup, or full custom performance build. We work on everything from classic muscle cars and street rods to modern performance vehicles, race cars, off-road builds, and custom fabrication projects.

  • Performance automotive knowledge is a major plus

  • Experience using CDK software a plus, but not necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate.
  • Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.

Compensation & Opportunity

Performance Shop Service Advisor Competitive Salary: This is a performance-based compensation position with substantial earning potential for the right individual. Enjoy a $1,000 monthly salary plus 15% commission on service customer pay orders and 5.5% commission on total internal pay orders. Proficient service writers should expect to earn well into six figures, with realistic earning potential upwards of $110,000 annually within the next year.

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.

Comprehensive Benefits Package: Hannah Motor Company provides extensive health benefits starting the first month after 60 days of employment. Options include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability, alongside a robust 401(k) plan for retirement planning.

Paid Holidays: We offer 5 paid holidays per year to Automotive Service Advisors subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy.
