Hibob information

What is Hibob and what does the company do?

Hibob is a company that provides a cloud-based human resources (HR) platform called 'bob.' Their software helps businesses manage HR processes such as employee onboarding, performance management, time off tracking, and company culture initiatives. Hibob aims to streamline HR tasks, improve employee engagement, and provide insights through analytics and reporting. The platform is designed to be flexible and scalable for growing organizations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an HRIS Specialist (with experience in Hibob), and why are they important?

To thrive as an HRIS Specialist experienced with Hibob, you need a background in human resources or information systems, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with HR processes. Proficiency in Hibob’s HRIS platform, data management tools, and report generation is typically required, along with relevant certifications like SHRM-CP or HRIP. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail help you support HR teams and drive system adoption. These skills ensure efficient HR operations, accurate data management, and effective support for organizational growth.

What is the difference between Hibob vs HR Coordinator?

FeatureHibobHR Coordinator
Primary RoleHR platform for employee engagement, onboarding, and HR managementAdministrative support, employee relations, and HR process execution
Required CredentialsHR knowledge, software proficiencyHR certification often preferred, administrative skills
Work EnvironmentTech-driven, collaborative, often remoteOffice-based or hybrid, administrative setting
Industry UsageUsed across various industries for HR managementCommonly employed in corporate HR departments

Hibob is a comprehensive HR platform focusing on employee engagement and HR management, while an HR Coordinator handles administrative HR tasks and employee relations. Hibob streamlines HR processes through technology, whereas HR Coordinators perform more manual, support-oriented roles. Both roles are essential in HR operations but serve different functions within organizations.

What are some common challenges faced by HR professionals working with the Hibob HRIS platform, and how can they be overcome?

HR professionals using the Hibob platform often encounter challenges such as adapting to new workflows, integrating Hibob with existing HR tools, and ensuring consistent employee data management. Familiarizing yourself with Hibob's support resources and regular training can help ease the transition. Additionally, collaborating closely with IT for integrations and leveraging Hibob’s community forums or customer support can resolve platform-specific concerns efficiently, ensuring smoother day-to-day operations.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Contract Recruiter to join our People team for an initial 3-month engagement to supercharge our sales hiring, with a primary focus on Sales. This is a high-impact role where you will own the end-to-end recruitment process for a portfolio of critical revenue-generating positions, partnering closely with Sales leadership and the broader GTM leadership team.

You will bring a combination of deep functional knowledge of SaaS Sales talent markets, a strong personal network, and a creative sourcing toolkit to rapidly build and convert a high-quality pipeline of candidates, all within East Coast business hours.

What You’ll Do

End-to-End GTM Recruiting

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for a portfolio of 5–10 active GTM roles, with a primary emphasis on Sales (Account Executives, Account Managers) and secondary coverage of adjacent GTM functions (Customer Success, Marketing).

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and align on candidate profiles and evaluation criteria.

  • Drive offer processes including compensation benchmarking, negotiation, and close - ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience throughout.

Pipeline Building & Innovative Sourcing

  • Deploy a diverse, innovative sourcing strategy across LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent communities, competitor mapping, referral programmes, niche SaaS sales networks, and emerging AI-powered sourcing tools.

  • Proactively build and maintain a warm pipeline of passive GTM talent ahead of open requisitions.

  • Leverage your existing East Coast SaaS and startup network to generate high-quality referrals and warm introductions.

  • Identify and engage talent from high-growth SaaS companies and VC-backed startups where top GTM professionals thrive.

Process & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage our ATS (TeamTailor) to ensure data integrity, accurate pipeline reporting, and a consistent hiring workflow from application through to offer.

  • Work fluidly with LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing and pipeline management, and collaborate with the People team in HiBob (our HRIS) for onboarding handoffs and headcount tracking.

  • Deliver regular pipeline and metrics updates to Talent and GTM leadership, flagging risks and adapting sourcing strategies in real time.

  • Champion a structured, inclusive, and efficient interview process - building trust with hiring managers as a strategic talent advisor, not just a transactional recruiter.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a proven focus on Sales hiring scaling the US market.

  • Deep background in SaaS, with an understanding of the commercial talent landscape, role archetypes, and compensation benchmarks.

  • Active network of East Coast SaaS Sales professionals at AE, AM, and leadership levels.

  • Hands-on experience with TeamTailor or comparable ATS platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience hiring across a range of Sales profiles - from individual contributors (AEs, AMs) to leadership - within startup and scaleup environments.

  • Strong track record of successfully closing passive candidates in competitive talent markets.

  • Hands-on experience with modern sourcing techniques including AI-assisted tools, talent intelligence platforms, and creative outreach strategies with high response rates.

  • Located in New York (preferred) or able to work consistently in the Eastern Time zone to support US business hours collaboration.
