Collaboration with other functions, such as clinical teams and biostatisticians, is essential to address these issues and ensure robust, actionable insights that support healthcare decision-making.

What are HEOR analysts?

HEOR analysts, or Health Economics and Outcomes Research analysts, are professionals who evaluate the economic impact and health outcomes of medical treatments, interventions, and healthcare policies. They use data analysis, statistical modeling, and literature reviews to assess the value, cost-effectiveness, and real-world impact of healthcare products and services. Their work helps inform healthcare decision-makers, such as providers, payers, and regulatory agencies, to ensure that resources are used efficiently and patients receive effective care. HEOR analysts often collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, health insurers, and government agencies.
