This individual will be responsible for securing favorable reimbursement, pricing, and formulary access, while building relationships with payers, GPOs, and other key access stakeholders. This is a high-visibility leadership role with significant influence over commercial success and patient access to Fosun Pharma's products in the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory teams to align access strategy with overall brand and corporate objectives.
  • Oversee development of payer marketing materials, value dossiers (e.g., AMCP dossiers), and access-related communications.
  • Monitor the evolving U.S. payer, policy, and reimbursement landscape (e.g., IRA implications, formulary trends, site-of-care shifts) and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Lead contracting negotiations and manage channel/distribution strategy in coordination with Trade and Distribution functions.
  • Ensure all market access activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance standards (e.g., anti-kickback, PhRMA Code).
  • Develop departmental budget, KPIs, and performance metrics for the Market Access function.
  • Represent Market Access in cross-functional leadership meetings and provide strategic input into brand planning and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or related) preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, with at least 5+ years in a Market Access leadership role.
  • Direct experience in Alzheimer's disease and/or Multiple Sclerosis (MS) required.
  • Proven experience building and/or scaling a Market Access function, ideally within a growing or entrepreneurial organization.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. payer landscape, including commercial payers, Medicare, Medicaid, PBMs, and GPOs.
  • Demonstrated experience with pricing strategy, contracting, and payer negotiations.
  • Experience supporting product launches in the U.S. market.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex access and reimbursement concepts for varied audiences.
