Diverse Business Systems, Inc. (DBS) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operator /Help Desk Technician to join our on-site team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is critical to supporting computer systems and networks that ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations.

✅ About the Role

As a Computer Operator/Help Desk Tech, you will support daily IT operations, resolve technical issues, and assist with system maintenance in a secure, mission-driven environment. You’ll work closely with leadership and technical teams while contributing to operational and project-based initiatives.

✅ What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support and assist with testing of integrated computer systems
  • Manage and prioritize assigned support tickets efficiently
  • Communicate clearly with peers and leadership in a collaborative environment
  • Transition smoothly between daily operations and project tasks
  • Follow established SOPs and guidance from contract and government leadership
  • Adapt to evolving technologies, systems, and policies
  • Operate and support hardware, software, and mass storage systems
  • Assist with installation, maintenance, and tuning of operating systems and automation tools
  • Support communications and computer systems under supervision
  • Travel locally using personal vehicle or company transportation, as needed

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • One active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification, such as:
    • Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP (or AA), and others
  • DLA CE Certification (Help Desk Tier II & III) — obtainable on first day of work
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Willingness to work on-site in Richmond, VA
