Job description

Title: Respiratory Therapist
Work Type: Contract/1099 role with consistent opportunities
Location: Charlotte, Greensboro, Durham, and Raleigh, North Carolina (local travel between clinics-45iminute radius)
Pay: Up to $1,200-$1,500/week; supplemental pay for years of experience, tenure with company, and region served as applicable

About the Role:
We're hiring Respiratory Therapists and Certified Pulmonary Function Testing Technicians to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in Charlotte, Greensboro, Durham, and Raleigh areas of North Carolina.
The Role
This role is ideal for RTs who value:

What You'll Do
  • Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device
  • Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
  • Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
  • Monitor patient safety during procedures
  • Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols
  • Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site

Qualifications
  • Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration
  • Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius)
  • Not required but desired bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Available two to five days per week

$1,200 - $1,500 a week
