Sr. Software Sales Executive

Locations: Remote or Hybrid US

About the Role

SS&C Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sr. Software Sales Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within our target markets. This role will focus on selling SS&C's EVOLV software solutions to prospective clients.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities through various channels, including market research, networking, cold calling, and inbound lead follow-up.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to individual client requirements.

  • Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and SS&C.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, product, and client services, to ensure a seamless client experience.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and SS&C product enhancements.

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 8-10 years of proven sales experience in the financial technology (FinTech) industry, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.

  • Demonstrated understanding of financial services operations, including banking and asset management, and/or alternative investments

  • Experience selling complex software solutions or services to CFO and CRO of Banks.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
