Job description

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Manager Nursing Systems and Regulatory Quality, the PI Coordinator supports the design, monitoring, analysis and improvement of patient care functions. Participates in the development and implementation of Nursing Performance Improvement Plans. Identifies the need for and conducts performance improvement studies. Prepares and presents related data and reports to the Nursing Division and Hospital Quality Improvement.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience in the development of Process Improvement Plans
  • Bachelors Degree in medical related field required.
    • Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and other computer system applications.
    • PowerPoint and other analytical applications such as McKesson Performance Analytics Explorer are a plus; must be able to develop simple graphs and charts to explain how the analysis will influence outcomes.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
    • Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize work efficiently to achieve goals.
    Must be able to work in a fast-paced, technical and cross-functional environment.
