Get to Know Your Team:
  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
  • The CPE Intern summer program will be a minimum 8 hour-per-day responsibility the time frame is during the session late May through first week of August.
  • Also, a CPE Intern is responsible to participate in the in-house, twenty-four-hour-a-day on-call rotation as a duty chaplain.
  • The CPE Intern is to engage in CPE training in a manner that increases their ministry formation, and pastoral identity and skills. Learning and ministry is done in an age-appropriate manner with sensitivity to gender, culture, and faith orientation.

Bachelor degree preferred. Graduate level theological education preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
