Job description

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Business Development Manager (healthcare) based remotely preferably in Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the overall healthcare sales and profitability by developing a sales strategy to drive profit growth, maximize satisfaction of customers, and develop a consistent line of repeat business that delivers opportunities for expanded growth.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $100,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Plus, a Sales Incentive Compensation. This position includes a competitive benefits package. Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What you will do

  • Develop a territory plan and account plans to manage the assigned territory
  • Meet sales targets through effective execution of the sales plan
  • Sell applied entrance, hardware, and access control solutions to healthcare targeted customers
  • Grow the number of planned maintenance contracts, billable service calls, and healthcare specifications for the territory
  • Work closely with other sales staff by attending healthcare customer meetings - on site and virtually, build relationships with healthcare customers and collaborate with the sales team to improve ability to take care of the customer and meet sales goals
  • Collaborate with dormakaba employees to capture planned maintenance agreements after new product installations

What we require

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 + years of industry experience selling to healthcare facilities, or working in Facilities Management
  • Experience selling to healthcare customers and working with and supporting architects and general contractors
  • Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management Software (e.g., Salesforce.com)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
