Essential Job Duties
In this role you will assist the Director of Recruiting with coordinating and executing the day to day player acquisition plan in the recruiting department.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in organizing the weekly communications and organization for coaching staff
    • Executes call lists, written notes, zooms, creative content, Whistle
  • Act as a liaison between coaching staff and recruits + influencers/champions
  • Identify and develop key connections with top targets + influencers/champions
  • Develop creative strategies to successfully recruit top targets + influencers/champions
  • ARMS Database upkeep
    • Maintain accurate & updated recruiting profiles on top defensive targets
    • Maintain list of influencers/champions on recruit profiles
    • Log any and all relevant data points pertaining to player acquisition
  • Assist in setting recruit lists for recruiting events, gamedays, etc.
  • Assist in setting top recruit lists & provide feedback on viability of targets
  • Tracking and logging of all relevant recruiting communications with targets
  • Host and tour recruits & guests while on campus for official/unofficial visits
  • Assist with execution of all recruiting events (official/unofficial visits, junior days, camps, etc.)
  • Collaborate with creative team on relevant and trendy recruiting ideas
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director of Recruiting, General Manager and Head Coach
  • Follow all compliance related rules of NC State University, NCAA & ACC
  • Oversee student interns assigned to recruiting
Other Responsibilities
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the organization and evolving priorities.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Require post-baccalaureate credentials or a bachelor's degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis.
Other Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in collegiate football program.
  • Data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or similar software). Experience working with databases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 3 or more years of experience working in collegiate football program.
Required License(s) or Certification(s)
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Valid NCDL within 60 days of hire, must be maintained.
