Are you an organized, people-focused professional who enjoys helping others succeed? Spectrum Human Services is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team and play a key role in creating a positive employee experience—from recruitment and onboarding to training and employee support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating processes, and making a meaningful impact on both employees and the organization.

What You'll Do

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will serve as a primary HR resource for employees while helping ensure smooth and efficient HR operations across the organization.

Employee Onboarding & Recruitment
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and ensure a welcoming first-day experience.
  • Present and facilitate new employee orientations.
  • Manage applicant flow and support recruiting efforts through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Process new hire documentation, including I-9 verification and HR system setup.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding files.
Training & Development
  • Schedule and facilitate employee training programs.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required training.
  • Track participation and provide feedback on training effectiveness.
  • Support HR initiatives focused on employee development and continuous improvement.
HR Administration
  • Maintain electronic personnel files in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Update and manage employee information within HR systems, including ADP.
  • Assist with personnel file audits and licensing reviews.
  • Process employment verifications and respond to information requests.
  • Support special HR projects and department initiatives.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of Human Resources experience, including onboarding, training, or employee support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, or ADP.
