Job description

Join Angel's Web Team
At Angel, we're building the future of entertainment through technology, storytelling, and human connection.
Our Web Team creates experiences that help audiences discover Angel, understand our mission, and take meaningful action. This role is focused on Guild growth and acquisition, helping new audiences become engaged members of our community through a deep understanding of user needs, rapid experimentation, and thoughtful use of AI to create better customer experiences.
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll shape how customers discover, evaluate, and engage with Angel products across the web. You'll partner closely with Product, Marketing, Research, and Engineering to identify opportunities, champion initiatives, and create experiences that grow the Guild community.
At Angel, Senior Product Designers operate with a high degree of ownership. The right candidate is energized by solving complex problems, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and motivated to drive meaningful outcomes through collaboration, experimentation, and action.
What You'll Do
  • Design and optimize acquisition, landing page, onboarding, and conversion experiences across Angel's web ecosystem.
  • Proactively identify and champion opportunities that improve acquisition, engagement, conversion, and overall user growth outcomes to build beneficial network effects.
  • Help define how the Guild experience is introduced to new users, revealing the value of community participation and strengthening the connection between Angel's mission and its members.
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Research, and Engineering to uncover insights, align on opportunities, and bring ideas to life quickly.
  • Use experimentation, analytics, user research, and customer feedback to inform decisions, validate solutions, and improve customer outcomes.
  • Leverage AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation, and product innovation.
  • Help define the best path forward in ambiguous problem spaces by balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Lead design discussions, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and drive key UI initiatives from concept through execution while maintaining a high standard of design quality.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, low-ego culture that values feedback, continuous learning, and measurable impact.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years designing consumer-facing digital product experiences, with significant experience designing for web platforms.
  • Portfolio required, demonstrating impactful product design work that improved acquisition, conversion, onboarding, retention, or other key growth metrics through thoughtful experimentation and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience improving acquisition, conversion, onboarding, retention, or other growth-focused metrics.
  • Experience designing AI-powered product experiences and hands-on experience using modern AI tools and workflows, including the Claude suite.
  • Strong product thinking with the ability to independently identify problems, propose solutions, and drive initiatives forward.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Research, and Engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data, research, and experimentation to inform design decisions.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous problem spaces and helping teams identify the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate rationale, influence decisions, and build trust across the organization.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading design reviews, aligning stakeholders, and driving key UI initiatives forward.
  • Collaborative, low-ego teammate who seeks feedback early and often and focuses on outcomes over output.
  • Naturally curious, resourceful, and motivated to improve the product, team, and process.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing acquisition funnels, landing pages, subscription flows, or growth-oriented product experiences.
  • Experience within entertainment, media, streaming, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Experience running or partnering on A/B testing and experimentation programs.
  • Experience working in fast-moving startup or high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with Angel, the Angel Guild, and our body of work (films, series, and other projects).
