Head of Funnel Strategy

Incubator Lab

Job description

Role Objective

As the Head of Meta Funnels Strategy, you will be the chief architect and operational leader of our Meta-focused customer journeys. This is a highly strategic, "player-coach" role. You aren't just managing from afar; you will actively lead our dedicated funnel pod, own the testing strategy, prioritize high-velocity experiments, and directly oversee execution across ad accounts and landing pages.

We need a "full-stack" growth strategist who lives at the intersection of psychology, direct-response copywriting, data, and landing page optimization (LPO). Your mission is to continuously beat "control" experiences, drive down Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and maximize Average Order Value (AOV).

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Funnel Pod: Directly lead a high-performing, cross-functional pod of Media Buyers, Creative Strategists, Copywriters, and Video Editors. Ensure they operate as one integrated, high-velocity system.
  • Own the Post-Click Strategy: Architect, build, and optimize high-converting landing pages, advertorials, listicles, and checkout flows specifically optimized for Meta traffic.
  • Prioritize & Design Experiments: Own the testing roadmap. Define and prioritize aggressive A/B testing cycles-including messaging, offers, angles, visual hooks, and pricing models.
  • Unbreakable "Ad-to-Page" Scent: Partner closely with creative teams to ensure a seamless transition from the thumb-stopping ad on Facebook/Instagram to the post-click experience.
  • Oversee Tech Stack & Tracking: Ensure exact tracking and attribution setups (e.g., TripleWhale, Northbeam, GA4) are maintained so we can confidently act on clean data.
  • Post-Purchase & AOV Strategy: Implement smart upsell logic (One-Click Upsells) and initial retention loops to maximize customer lifetime value (LTV).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Performance Marketing Experience: At least 2+ years specifically in a leadership role managing cross-functional growth or CRO teams.
  • Proven Meta Funnel Mastery: A strong track record of personally designing, launching, and scaling high-volume direct-to-consumer (DTC) funnels to 7-figure monthly spends.
  • "Whole-Brain" Analytical/Creative Thinker: Strong analytical mindset to read ad account data and drop-off heatmaps, paired with the direct-response knowledge to write compelling copy.
  • Tech Stack Fluency: Comfortable with landing page builders (PageFly, Gempages, Replo), Shopify, and third-party attribution/tracking tools.
  • High Velocity & Execution: Experience operating in rapid, short-form creative testing cycles and moving from data insight to live update in hours, not weeks.
  • Superior Communication: Ability to write clear, "Source of Truth" briefs and documentation for a global, async team.
Working Hours & Culture
  • Async-First: We prioritize output over "hours in a seat". You have the freedom to work when you are most productive, provided deadlines are met.
  • EST Overlap: We require 3-4 hours of daily overlap with US EST business hours (typically between 9 AM and 1 PM EST) to facilitate strategic syncs and real-time pod alignment.
How to Apply

We prioritize data over gut feelings. To be considered, please submit your resume and a brief Funnel Strategy Case Study showcasing:

  • The Architecture: A full Meta-traffic funnel system you designed and optimized from ad hook to landing page to upsells.
  • The Wins: The hard metrics, specifically detailing your impact on CPA, CVR, or ROAS scale.
  • The Pivot: A scenario where the data flagged a failing funnel and the precise optimization pivot you executed to fix it
