Job Summary:
WHOOP is on a mission to unlock human performance and Healthspan through wearable technology and analytics. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to craft digital experiences that drive growth outcomes like acquisition and conversion, focusing on ecommerce and core purchase journeys.
Responsibilities:
• Own and lead the end-to-end design of critical digital experiences that drive acquisition, conversion, and retention, with a focus on ecommerce experiences.
• Shape and evolve complex user flows and information architecture to create clear, intuitive paths to conversion as our offerings evolve.
• Balance near-term execution with long-term thinking by designing improvements that ladder into an evolving platform architecture, ensuring today’s decisions set up scalable, cohesive experiences over time.
• Translate growth opportunities into thoughtful product solutions grounded in user behavior, data insights, and effective design patterns, consistently delivering work with exceptional visual craft.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to shape strategy and drive execution, ensuring high-quality implementation and moving initiatives forward with clarity.
• Work within an experimentation-driven team, using data to inform hypotheses, design A/B tests, and iterate quickly while driving measurable improvements in key conversion metrics and balancing speed and craft.
• Take ownership of key initiatives by defining problems, shaping direction, and driving work forward with a clear point of view grounded in strong design fundamentals.
• Leverage AI and emerging tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and iteration, bringing a technically curious mindset and comfort working close to implementation.
• Contribute to WHOOP’s design culture by sharing expertise, giving feedback, and helping raise the bar for product quality across the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Multiple years of experience designing ecommerce, purchase flows, or other transaction-oriented products, with a deep understanding of how users evaluate, decide, and complete actions within digital experiences (not including co-ops, internships, or academic projects).
• An exceptional portfolio of shipped digital product work that demonstrates exceptional visual craft, clarity in complex flows, and the ability to deliver production-ready experiences.
• Proven experience designing for measurable, conversion-focused outcomes such as acquisition, purchase, or retention, with a strong understanding of funnel optimization, experimentation, and using data to inform and evaluate decisions.
• Demonstrated strength in information architecture and designing end-to-end flows that simplify complexity and guide users through multi-step journeys.
• Deep proficiency with modern design tools and workflows (Figma, prototyping, component libraries), combined with strong technical fluency and the ability to leverage AI and code-adjacent tools to accelerate design and prototyping, while collaborating closely with engineering to bring ideas to life.
• Strong ability to own and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously, influencing cross-functional partners and influencing product direction while elevating team craft.
• Clear decision-maker and communicator who can articulate and defend design decisions using strong design principles, heuristics, and data, building alignment across stakeholders.
