Job Summary:
Envision Technology Advisors, LLC is a team of dedicated professionals delivering innovative IT solutions. The Ground Control Support Technician will provide exceptional customer service and technical support, ensuring clients and teammates feel supported and informed.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide exceptional customer service.
โ€ข Be an effective communicator and enjoy working with people.
โ€ข Serve as an administrator for Envision Technology Advisorsโ€™ Ground Control suite of technologies.
โ€ข Deploy and support a mix of the above technologies for our clients.
โ€ข Interface with Engineering to escalate issues as needed.
โ€ข Participate in technical sessions with clients to discover requirements and develop solutions.
โ€ข Communicate potential ticket resolutions to clients and steer them appropriately to ensure they make the best decision possible.
โ€ข Occasionally serve as engineering resource on implementation projects.
โ€ข Mentor and develop new team members as they come onboard.
โ€ข Maintain technical certifications as required.
โ€ข Provide technical training and prepare network documentation for customers as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข You must be an excellent communicator and have unparalleled customer service skills.
โ€ข Be completely fluent in all MS desktop operating systems and common workflow software such as: Office, Adobe, Quickbooks, Web Browsers etc.
โ€ข Have strong troubleshooting skills including a clear process for root cause analysis.
โ€ข 2+ years providing help desk or hands-on technical support.
โ€ข 2+ yearsโ€™ experience with registry cleaners, virus and spyware removal, email troubleshooting, printing troubleshooting, patching, and other common PC issue resolutions.
โ€ข Must be able to show examples / demonstrate that you genuinely understand the nature of good customer service
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with Sonicwall or other similar Firewalls.
โ€ข Experience with MS server operating systems.
โ€ข Experience with Mac OS, iOS, and Android.
โ€ข Experience with Virtualization.
โ€ข Experience with common backup applications (Symantec, Mozy, Veeam).
โ€ข Experience with switching and routing.
