Job description

Job Purpose & Position Overview:
The Marketing Technology Specialist position is a full-time position that focuses on increasing the visibility of the Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System (WCHS) to the public. This position's primary responsibilities are centered around identifying, building, and executing campaigns and tactics. This position will be a full-time hybrid position with remote work flexibility on an as-needed/approved basis.
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Lead organic and paid social media efforts to grow our engagement while supporting our campaigns and strategic goals.
  • Identify needs and recommend communication opportunities to create simple, accurate, and impactful messaging.
  • Collaborate and activate team members to execute strategic website, campaigns, public relations, and digital efforts.
  • Act as the secondary support of the Communications Manager with executive and organizational planning, reporting, and crisis communication efforts.
  • Develop, manage, and execute communications plans for the organization across all electronic health record platforms to reach audiences within budget requirements according to strategic goals.
  • Analyze performance data of all efforts to provide insights and recommendations to guide strategy and communication for the organization.
  • Support our team and graphic designer in leading brand management efforts, creating graphics and videos to help advance the consistent perception of WCHS to our internal and external audiences.

Team Responsibilities
  • Act as brand liaison to the organization to ensure consistent brand voice, vision, and aesthetics are achieved; develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with organizational mission, vision, and values.
  • Manage and advocate for brand standards both within the organization and externally.
  • Work with a team to develop and maintain website and social media strategies to support the organization across efforts.
  • Work with a team to manage social media communications to grow followers, create engagement, and drive traffic from all social channels.
  • Work with a team to drive traffic to, assist, and cover all organizational events.
  • Assist with all team, departmental, and organizational strategies as needed.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree (Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Business, Technology) and 5-10 years of marketing, technology, or sales experience.
  • Experience with building communication flow tools
  • Healthcare experience or experience using Meditech, Atera (Patient Connect), Care Compass, Mhealth patient portals preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to develop content for SEO is preferred.)
  • Experience working both independently and as a team, managing and balancing workload and priorities, and then receiving and providing constructive feedback and edits.
  • Flexible, willing to learn, and desire to improve

Physical Requirements:
  • Normal to light office work which includes the ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone, and various office equipment.
  • While performing daily duties, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

Language Requirements:
  • Possess the ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
