As Trauma Program Manager, you will lead clinical, operational, educational, and quality improvement initiatives to advance pediatric trauma care. Working closely with physicians, nurses, EMS, and hospital leaders, you will enhance patient outcomes, strengthen program performance, and drive regulatory excellence. This high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to shape a premier Level I pediatric trauma program while expanding your expertise in quality management, program development, and collaborative leadership within a nationally recognized academic health system.
A caregiver in this position works daysfrom8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on-site at Main Campus.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Collaborate with other disciplines throughout hospitals to develop and implement the American College of Surgeons (ACS) standards for care of trauma patient.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio statelaw asrelated to Trauma Centers andtraumapatients.
- Establish andmaintainrelationships with community officials,traumaand EMS organizations as a liaison for the Hospital.
- RepresentTraumaService on selected hospital and community committees.
- Co-chair trauma related committees in collaboration with the Medical Director for Trauma.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Five years of experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care Nursing
- 1 year or more of pediatric experience is required, whether in the ED, ICU, or a medical-surgical unit.
- Current valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) audit or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN),
- Bachelor'sof Science in Nursing (BSN)
Physical Requirements:
- Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires frequent data entry, walking and sitting.
- Occasionally lifts and carries item weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Some exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $84,200.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $128,412.50
