Job description

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is seeking an Assistant Instructor. The position requires an M.D./Ph.D. or Ph.D. in a basic science and two to five years of postdoctoral experience in cardiovascular research or a related specialty. The position will develop independent and external funded as well as collaborative research programs focusing on the design and synthetization of novel chemical entities related to the molecular targets affiliated to cardiovascular research. The position will also have medical student, graduate student, and resident/fellow teaching responsibilities.
