Location: Knox City-O'Brien CISD
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: August 2026


Job Description:
Knox City-O'Brien CISD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Teacher's Aide's to support classroom instruction and enhance the learning environment for students during the 20262027 school year. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a certified teacher, assisting with instructional support, classroom management, and student engagement.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the classroom teacher with instructional tasks and activities
  • Supporting individual or small groups of students with academic tasks
  • Helping with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines
  • Supervising students in various settings including classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds
  • Performing clerical tasks such as grading papers, organizing supplies, and maintaining student records
  • Providing additional support to students with special needs as required
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and staff
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred

Salary:
