Job description

About Resolve AI
  • Software maintenance and production troubleshooting have become a massive tax of engineering velocity. Resolve AI is solving this by building a transformative, truly autonomous AI Production Engineer that investigates and fixes complex system issues end-to-end.
  • Our founders (Spiros Xanthos and Mayank Agarwal) are the core creators of OpenTelemetry and led Splunk Observability. They have had 2 successful exits to Splunk and VMware.
  • We've raised over $190M from top-tier investors including Lightspeed, Greylock, DST, Unusual Ventures, and individual backers such as Jeff Dean (Chief Scientist, Google DeepMind), Thomas Dohmke (CEO, GitHub), Matt Garman (CEO, AWS), Reid Hoffman (Founder, LinkedIn), and Fei-Fei Li (Professor, Stanford).

What You'll Do
As our first technical recruiter, you'll help shape the future of Resolve AI by identifying and hiring the exceptional engineers who will build the next generation of AI-driven production systems. You'll partner directly with the Head of People & Talent and early leadership team to build world-class engineering teams across AI, backend, infrastructure, and more. Your impact will extend far beyond hiring: you'll define recruiting processes from scratch, bring our talent strategy to life, and directly influence company culture during this foundational stage.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles across engineering, AI Research, Infrastructure, Backend, Full stack, Frontend, Security, and more.
  • Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to understand business needs, team roadmaps, and evolving role requirements.
  • Build and execute strategic sourcing campaigns to uncover top-tier, often passive, candidates, using creative outreach, referrals, talent mapping, and events.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Resolve AI's culture of excellence and high urgency.
  • Define and implement foundational processes, including interview loops, scorecards, scheduling workflows, and best practices.
  • Share talent market insights and real-time funnel data to inform hiring decisions and improve conversion metrics.
  • Contribute to our employer brand, working with design and marketing to craft messaging that attracts world-class builders.
  • Experiment with new ideas, be it in sourcing channels, or automation tools, to keep us ahead of the curve.

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth startup environments.
  • Proven success hiring across multiple technical domains, bonus if you've supported areas like infra, AI, or backend engineering.
  • Experience recruiting AI/ML or research talent
  • Strong business acumen and technical intuition, you don't need to write code, but you should be able to quickly understand what makes someone excellent at building scalable systems.
  • Highly autonomous and self-starting, with a founder mindset and bias toward action.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a polished but human touch across written and verbal interactions.
  • A scrappy, resourceful approach, you know how to deliver results with speed and limited resources.
  • A genuine belief in our mission to transform production operations using AI, and excitement to work alongside deeply technical builders.

Why Join Resolve AI?
  • Make a Real Impact: Join a mission-driven team tackling complex challenges that deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and revolutionize engineering operations.
  • Shape Agentic AI's Future: Help build the next frontier in enterprise software and define its transformative impact.
  • Own Your Work: Take end-to-end responsibility in your role in a collaborative, high-trust environment.
  • Accelerate Your Career: Grow alongside industry leaders in a fast-paced environment, gaining invaluable experience and opportunities to propel your career to new heights.
  • Competitive Benefits: Competitive Pay Packages with full benefits including:
    • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
    • Monthly Housing Stipend
    • Flexible (Unlimited) Paid Time Off
    • Visa Sponsorship & Immigration Support
    • 401(k) Plan
    • Parental Leave
    • Discretionary Tech Benefit Stipend
    • Daily in-office Lunches and Dinners

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, and other characteristics protected by law.
