What you'll build

 

As SAP Data & Analytics Architect, you will play a key role in helping customers modernize their enterprise data and analytics landscapes while driving successful business outcomes through SAP’s strategic data platform portfolio.

 

  • Deliver Success Plan and MaxAttention services as a technical lead and trusted advisor.
  • Drive customer adoption of SAP Data & Analytics solutions, cloud technologies, and Business AI capabilities.
  • Lead SAP BW modernization and transformation initiatives, helping customers transition to SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, and modern cloud-based architectures.
  • Conduct customer workshops, assessments, architecture reviews, and transformation planning activities to define target-state architectures and migration roadmaps.
  • Guide customers through analytics modernization journeys, from strategy and business case development to implementation and adoption.
  • Provide architectural leadership for complex technical challenges, escalations, and critical customer situations.
  • Collaborate with SAP, partner, and customer teams to ensure successful project delivery and business outcomes.
  • Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the growth of SAP's Data & Analytics community.

What you'll bring

  • Core expertise in SAP Data & Analytics solutions, including SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere.
  • Proven experience leading SAP BW modernization programs, including BW 7.5 modernization, BW/4HANA transformations, and migrations to Business Data Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BW architecture, including data acquisition, transformation, modeling, virtualization, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ABAP development.
  • Hands-on experience with BW transformation approaches such as Remote, Shell, In-Place, and Selective Transition conversions.
  • Experience designing modern enterprise data platforms integrating SAP and non-SAP data across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical and architectural challenges.
  • Understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both executives and technical teams.
  • Passion for continuous learning, customer success, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

The targeted annual combined range for this position is 173,000-294,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
