Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager – Infrastructure to lead and manage infrastructure workstreams for large-scale SAP S/4HANA digital transformation and migration programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP infrastructure, cloud and data center environments, migration planning, and enterprise project delivery. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, infrastructure architects, cloud providers, and third-party vendors to ensure successful SAP S/4HANA migration and infrastructure readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end infrastructure activities for SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including:
    • Infrastructure
    • SAP Basis
    • Network
    • Security
    • Cloud
    • Application teams
  • Ensure project milestones are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Drive project governance, status reporting, and executive communications.

2. Infrastructure Management

  • Plan and oversee infrastructure readiness for SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Manage requirements across servers, storage, networks, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Coordinate provisioning and configuration of:
    • Development
    • Testing
    • Staging
    • Production environments
  • Ensure scalability, performance, availability, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.

3. SAP S/4HANA Migration

  • Support and coordinate Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid migration strategies.
  • Manage SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration activities.
  • Coordinate infrastructure cutover planning and execution.
  • Manage system upgrades and environment refreshes.
  • Drive technical readiness assessments and migration rehearsals.
  • Coordinate dependencies between SAP Basis, infrastructure, application, database, network, and security teams.

4. Cloud & Security

  • Collaborate with cloud providers and teams across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Coordinate cloud hosting and migration activities.
  • Ensure infrastructure complies with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate:
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    • Backup & Recovery
    • Disaster Recovery
    • Cybersecurity controls

5. Risk & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify, track, and mitigate infrastructure risks and dependencies.
  • Provide regular status updates to program leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and technical governance reviews.
  • Manage third-party vendors and service delivery commitments.
  • Drive issue resolution across technical and business teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience with enterprise infrastructure programs.
  • 5+ years of SAP project delivery experience, including SAP S/4HANA migrations.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • SAP Basis Administration
    • SAP S/4HANA Architecture
    • SAP HANA Database
    • Infrastructure & Data Center Services
    • Cloud Infrastructure
    • Network Architecture
    • Security Architecture
  • Hands-on experience coordinating SAP ECC → S/4HANA migrations.
  • Experience with Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid SAP transformation approaches.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of cutover, migration rehearsals, DR, backup/recovery, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
