Job description

Title: Temporary SAP Production Coordinator
Location: San Francisco, CA | Hybrid
At Rothy's, we know there's a better way to do business, and it starts by putting the planet and its people first. More than 225 million single-use plastic bottles and 715,000 pounds of ocean-bound marine plastic have been transformed into our signature thread, creating wardrobe staples that look just as good as they feel.
Striving for zero waste, we combine 3D knitting technology and handcrafted assembly to create machine washable styles that don't compromise on comfort. From classic shoes to carry-everywhere bags, we create essentials for wherever you go.
At Rothy's, building a sustainable future is at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive environment at our HQ, retail stores and wholly-owned factory, and are growing our community every day.
About the Team:
Our Production team is always one step ahead. While many teams are responsible for responding to moments in the present, this one looks toward the future. From finessing the production of our silhouettes to developing new materials, our production gurus work hand-in-hand with our factory team to make sure the wheels of Rothy's keep turning on our quest for a more sustainable future.
About the Role:
In the Temporary SAP Production Coordinator role, you will support the integrity of our purchase order and data systems - keeping things accurate, up-to-date, and running smoothly across teams. You will work closely with colleagues in Merchandising, Planning, Logistics, and our China-based factory and production teams, playing a key role in making sure our products get where they need to go, on time and on point.
What you'll do:
  • Issue purchase orders and manage updates in SAP, ensuring alignment with team's shipping requirements and accuracy across all relevant records
  • Manage off-cadence Costing Updates in SAP, supporting the Assistant Production Manager who handles initial costing uploads.
  • Communicate transit and transportation changes clearly to Merchandising, Planning, and China teams.
  • Maintain data integrity within our PLM system (Centric), keeping product information current and accurate.
  • Partner with Production, Merchandising, and Merchandise Planning counterparts throughout the PO planning process.
  • Support SKU updates driven by production or material changes, including factory shifts that require new SKUs and POs.
  • Help troubleshoot categorization, material group, and attribute issues in SAP in collaboration with the Accounting team.

You are:
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized-you catch discrepancies before they become problems.
  • A clear and proactive communicator who keeps cross-functional partners in the loop.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting when processes evolve.
  • Eager to learn enterprise systems and build operational skills in a supportive team setting.
  • Collaborative by nature-you enjoy working with teams across time zones and functions.

You have:
  • 1-2 years of experience in production coordination, order management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SAP or a comparable enterprise software system; experience with Centric or Toolio is a plus.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for data tracking and reporting.
  • A foundational understanding of purchase orders, supply chain, or logistics workflows.
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field-or equivalent hands-on experience.

Our benefits:
  • Generous paid time off
  • 401k matching
  • Comprehensive health plans for you and your family
  • Supplemental mental health benefits
  • Monthly wellness reimbursement
  • Dog friendly offices
  • Employee Discount Program!

Pay range:
$32-$39/hour
Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
