    Client Job Description
    We are seeking an experienced SAP PS (Project Systems) Consultant with strong expertise in managing capital investment projects, particularly within domains such as grid/utility infrastructure, engineering, and large-scale capital projects. The role involves configuring and supporting SAP PS modules, with emphasis on WBS structures, milestone billing, and budget vs actual tracking.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and support implementation and enhancement of SAP Project Systems (PS) module
    • Configure and manage project structures including:
      • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
      • Networks and activities
      • Project hierarchies for capital investment projects
    • Handle capital grid/utility investment projects, including project lifecycle management
    • Set up and manage budgeting, planning, and cost tracking (Budget vs Actual analysis)
    • Configure and support milestone billing processes integrated with SD
    • Ensure proper integration of SAP PS with:
      • SAP FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
      • SAP MM (Materials Management)
      • SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
    • Monitor and control:
      • Project costs
      • Commitments
      • Revenue recognition (if applicable)
    • Provide project reporting and analytics:
      • Cost variance analysis
      • Earned Value Management (optional but preferred)
    • Work closely with business stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution design
    • Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live activities
    • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support

    Required Skills & Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in SAP PS (Project Systems)
    • Strong hands-on experience in:
      • WBS creation and management
      • Project budgeting and cost tracking
      • Milestone billing configuration
      • Budget vs Actual reporting and analysis
    • Experience handling capital investment / infrastructure / utility projects
    • Integration knowledge with FI/CO, MM, SD
    • Good understanding of project accounting and cost control principles
    • Experience in S/4HANA is a plus
    • Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
