Job description

Marketing Intern


The Marketing Intern will support Hillpointe's marketing efforts by working across digital, property, and corporate marketing teams to execute campaigns and maintain brand consistency across the portfolio. This role helps connect strategy and execution by assisting with content, campaigns, and property-level initiatives that drive traffic and leasing performance. Provides exposure to how different marketing functions collaborate to support new developments, stabilize communities, and elevate the overall brand.

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in strategy optimization review and recommendations for ILS platforms
  • Support updates and audits of property websites, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency
  • Support local SEO audits and assist with other projects from the Digital Marketing department.
  • Conduct regular ILS audits (pricing, concessions, amenities, photos, and descriptions)
  • Track and report on key performance metrics (traffic, leads, conversions, engagement)
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with digital, property, and corporate teams
  • Provide general administrative and project support to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of marketing concepts such as impressions, CPL, ILS, SEO, SEM conversion rate, NER, PPC, etc.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), social media platforms, and basic analytics tools.
  • Preferred but not required: familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or reporting tools like Google Analytics.
  • High School Diploma required

 
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and in writing.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or lifting light materials (up to 15-25 pounds), such as marketing materials or office supplies.
  • Visual ability to read screens, review digital content, and analyze marketing materials.
