Title: Ad Operations Specialist
Location: Santa Clara CA 95054
Pay rate: $50.00 - $.52/hour DOE
Duration:  12+Months (Possibility of extension)
 
Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Execution & Traffic Management
  • Meticulously build and launch campaigns, ad sets, and individual ads across key channels.
  • Manage the technical pipeline of performance marketing initiatives, contributing directly to the growth of a sophisticated e-commerce business.
  • Oversee audience targeting integration, manage audience match rates across platforms (TTD, Meta, Google/YouTube), and curate segments using tools like LiveRamp.
 
2. Technical Quality Assurance (QA) & Troubleshooting
  • Lead the technical QA process for all ad creative—including static, rich media, video, and third-party tags—to ensure they meet standards and fire correctly across web, mobile, and app platforms.
  • Systematically investigate and reconcile data discrepancies between the Google Ad Server, DSPs, and publisher reporting systems.
  • Be able to resolve complex ad-serving, tracking, and reporting issues with internal teams and external partners.
 
3. Performance Optimization & Reporting
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns to ensure they run without issue, managing budget pacing to avoid under/overspend, and hit campaign KPIs successfully.
  • Utilize Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and deliver standardized or custom reports from the Google Ad Server to provide performance insights.
  • Work closely with Campaign Strategists to create media plans based on historical performance data.
  • Document and implement scalable best practices for campaign trafficking and naming conventions to reduce human error.
 
Preferred Qualification:
  • Expert-level proficiency and hands-on experience with Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
  • Deep expertise in DSPs like Display & Video 360 (DV360), The Trade Desk (TTD) and major social platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and Reddit.
  • 3-6 years of dedicated experience in Ad Operations, Digital Media Operations, or Ad Technology roles.
  • Comfort with HTML, JavaScript, rich media formats, VAST/VPAID for video, and current cookie/privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Exceptional candidates will have experience with LiveRamp, Bomobra, Demandbase and other ABM or Audience focused vendors.
 
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
