Job description

IRC Africa is a US registered 501c3 nonprofit organization operating the first emergency shelter for women and children survivors of violence in southern Madagascar.

We currently have an active Google Ad Grants account that provides up to $10,000 per month in in-kind advertising credit from Google. We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help us use this grant effectively by improving campaign performance, conversions, and overall impact.

This is a hands-on volunteer role working with a live Google Ads account funded through the Google Ad Grants program. Due to the nature of the grant, this position is volunteer-based.

The role is ideal for someone with practical experience in Google Ads who wants to apply their skills to a meaningful humanitarian cause and help ensure that donated ad credit translates into real-world results.

Key Responsibilities

    • Audit and optimize existing Google Ads Grant campaigns
    • Improve CTR, Quality Score, and compliance with Ad Grants policies
    • Build, test, and refine Search campaigns
    • Optimize keywords, ads, and ad extensions
    • Focus on meaningful conversions and performance metrics

Required Skills and Experience

    • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns
    • Experience with Google Ad Grants is a strong advantage
    • Strong analytical and optimization skills
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership
