Job Description

The Associate, Ad Sales will support NLSE?s ad sales team by assisting in the execution of advertising partnerships, client communications, and sales operations. This entry-level position is ideal for a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn the business of sports media sales and grow into a client-facing revenue role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team with prospect research, client outreach, and scheduling meetings.
  • Help prepare proposals, presentations, and media kits tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain sales databases, track campaigns, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (programming, marketing, production) to support the delivery of advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and compile reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales leadership team.
  • Stay current on sports media trends, advertising innovations, and competitive landscape.
  • Contribute ideas for and create collateral for sponsorship packages, branded content, and ad opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (internship or equivalent experience in sales/marketing a plus).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM or sales software is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn advertising sales and sports media business.
