Colonial Cadillac of Woburn, a leading GM dealership and service center, is seeking an experienced A-Level GM Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As an A-Level Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services to our valued customers, working on a wide variety of GM vehicles, including the latest models.
We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise, an excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on GM vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Diagnose complex vehicle issues using factory-approved tools and procedures.
  • Conduct multi-point inspections and provide customers with comprehensive service recommendations.
  • Perform thorough repairs and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest GM vehicle technologies, tools, and repair procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate service information and timelines.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and records for all services performed.
Requirements:
  • GM Certified (ASE Master Certification is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on GM vehicles.
  • Ability to perform complex diagnostics and repairs on all vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency with the use of diagnostic equipment and factory service tools.
  • Strong understanding of GM service procedures, manuals, and technical bulletins.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical school graduate preferred.
Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with electric and hybrid GM vehicles (e.g., Cadillac Lyriq, Chevy Volt, Bolt EV, etc.)
  • Experience with GM factory software such as GDS2, Tech2, or other GM diagnostic tools.
