Job description

About Us

Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit. Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.

We're based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We're backed by top investors including Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, DNX Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Justin Kan, Elad Gil, and more.

We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide's team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.

As an early stage start-up employee, you'll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners' lives easier by bringing together up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.

About the Role

As a Global Account Executive at Fieldguide, you'll own the largest, most complex strategic accounts in our portfolio and be responsible for growing them across every region, subsidiary, and business unit where they operate. This is a deeply focused, white-glove role: rather than managing a portfolio or a territory, you'll go all-in on a small number of accounts, becoming the internal and external expert on their business, structure, and long-term strategy.

You'll run a global, multi-threaded account motion that spans regions, time zones, and stakeholder groups (regional practice leaders to global C-suite executives) while coordinating internally across a wide set of partners to deliver a coherent, unified experience for the account worldwide.

Taking a consultative, partner-first approach, you'll guide these organizations through a broader shift in how audit and advisory work gets done globally, positioning Fieldguide as the platform of record across every geography they operate in.

This role reports to the Sr. Director of Sales and is fully remote within the U.S.

What You'll Do
  • Own 1–3 named global strategic accounts end-to-end, serving as the single point of accountability for their growth and health worldwide.

  • Build and execute a multi-year global account strategy, mapping whitespace across regions, subsidiaries, and business units.

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets tied to global expansion, not just a single region or entry point.

  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with global and regional decision-makers, understanding how each account's structure, governance, and local nuances shape the path to expansion.

  • Develop and execute account strategy using the MEDDICC methodology, adapted for multi-region, multi-stakeholder deal cycles.

  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional and regional teams — Solutions, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success — to ensure a consistent account experience across every geography.

  • Navigate the added complexity of global deals: multiple procurement and legal processes, regional pricing and currency considerations, data residency requirements, and varying regulatory environments.

  • Present tailored solution walkthroughs to stakeholders across regions, adapting messaging to local market context while maintaining a unified global narrative.

  • Own the creation, ideation, and execution of comprehensive global account plans, shared and aligned with internal leadership.

  • Maintain rigorous CRM diligence, forecasting accuracy, and clear communication with internal stakeholders across all active regions of the account.

  • Represent Fieldguide at global and regional industry events tied to your accounts, deepening relationships and visibility within the account's ecosystem.

  • Up to 30–40% travel, including international travel to support in-region relationships and meetings.

About You
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a track record of owning and growing a small number of large, complex, multinational accounts rather than a broad territory.

  • Proven experience managing global or multi-region account relationships — including navigating different regional stakeholders, procurement processes, and business practices within a single account.

  • Strong executive presence and the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders across geographies and cultures.

  • Exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to orchestrate long, multithreaded expansion cycles across regions and business units.

  • Demonstrated success driving whitespace expansion within existing accounts, not just net-new logo acquisition.

  • Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership over a small, high-stakes book of business.

  • Team player who collaborates effectively across internal teams (Solutions, BDRs, Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) spanning multiple regions.

  • Motivated by depth over breadth — energized by going deep on a handful of accounts rather than managing a large portfolio.

  • Experience working for and/or selling directly to audit, advisory, or assurance firms with a global or multinational footprint strongly preferred.
