Job description

POSITION: School Office Secretary


POSITION OPENING: August 6, 2026
SCHEDULE: 9:30am - 6:00pm / with a 30 minute lunch break (FULL-TIME / Hourly)
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide oversight/secretary work for the front school office for a private, Pre-K thru 12th private school on the Southside of Jacksonville, FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include: answering phones, data entry, requesting records, maintaining student files, outbound calls to parents, accepting payments, etc. 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Communicating effectively and clearly with students, parents, and staff; facilitating a meaningful educational environment for students; assist with admissions/enrollment for the school year; tracking essential paper-work related to the school office; perform daily office operations.


QUALIFICATIONS: High-School Diploma Required.


BENEFITS / COMPENSATION: Benefits and compensation include: 

  • Pay is negotiable between $17.00 to $19.00, per hour
  • Participation in 403(b) Retirement Plan is available immediately, upon hire
  • Employer Matching Contributions towards Retirement Plan, after 1 year of employment
  • Paid Holidays (After 1 year of employment)
  • Paid Time Off (8 Hours after 1 year of employment)
