TITLE: SEAL Coordinator
LOCATION: North Central Texas Workforce Solutions
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary - Full-Time, Non-Exempt Employee
Responsible for coordinating, communicating, and implementing activities and services related to the VR SEAL program. This position works jointly with the VR SEAL Lead to implement training and placement support for VR SEAL trainees through the SEAL Summer Work Experience Program.
The SEAL Coordinator reports to the Area Manager. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
The SEAL Coordinator position is an integral part of our team and will assist us with our mission of accelerating the human condition!

Your Impact on Career TEAM's Success:• Helps coordinate and implement a quality work experience program for SEAL participants
• Outreaches VR Seal Referrals to provide program information and encourage engagement
• Communicates with SEAL Manager regarding issues needing VR partner engagement
• Acts as program liaison with SEAL trainees and guardians (if applicable) to provide the information needed for successful and compliant trainee Work Experience engagement
• Conducts Work Readiness training with VR customers in compliance with the SEAL Plan
• Assists in matching SEAL customers with available SEAL worksites
• Processes SEAL participants as required for appropriate enrollment into the ADP system
• Assists and guides customers in the completion of enrollment activities and documentation necessary for compliant SEAL enrollment
• Assists and guides customers (and guardians, if needed) to complete appropriate enrollment steps for wage payment systems
• Schedules and performs New Hire Orientations as needed
• Schedules and performs Worksite Supervisor Orientations and documents these orientations as required
• Completion of worksite visit documentation in a timely and complete fashion
• Manages and conducts analysis of work experience activities to ensure implementation of policies and procedures
• Oversees worksite activities as needed to assure applicable Child Labor Law compliance
• Coordinate, pick up, and process timesheets in a timely manner
• Coordinate/provide payroll distribution (if needed)
• Coordinate with Career Team administrative staff and SEAL customers/guardians (if applicable) to resolve paycheck and timesheet issues as needed
• Track and document outcomes and manage contractual goals related to the SEAL Program.
• Obtain and review performance evaluations provided by employers and take appropriate actions when needed
• Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
• Other duties and projects as needed
To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have: • Bachelor's degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of work experience combining elements of training, counseling, case management, or other services
• Substantial case management experience and the ability to read and interpret policies and procedures
• Experience working successfully with individuals with disabilities
• Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally-diverse customer base in a culturally sensitive fashion
• Ability to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them toward achieving goals
• Personal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A Valid Driver's License
