Chief Operating Officer (COO) โ€“ Wellness Center

Location: Brickell | Type: Full-Time | Reports To: CEO

Position Summary

We are seeking a high energy, positive and proactive leader to oversee daily operations across our premier 15,000 square foot wellness center, specializing in longevity, regenerative medicine, and non-invasive aesthetics, as well as two smaller satellite locations. The COO will lead the team, lead sales and marketing initiatives, and direct core HR processes to drive culture, growth, and an elevated client experience.

Core Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Provide leadership, management, accountability and direction to the team.
  • Culture: Foster an environment that promotes high performance, accountability, and exceptional client experience.
  • Daily Operations & Superior Client Experience: Oversee daily center operations to ensure high quality client care, including client retention and maximizing utilization of services. This includes ensuring clear, complete, succinct documentation to support all processes.
  • Human Resources & People Management: Direct the full HR lifecycleโ€”including recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance reviews and retention.
  • Marketing & Sales Oversight: Drive growth strategies, lead intake and sales pipelines, and align marketing efforts with conversion goals to expand high-value memberships and packages.
  • Financial Performance: Manage the P&L, maximize device/room utilization, and build recurring revenue through optimized pricing, sales pipelines, and retention programs.
  • Team & Clinical Leadership: Supervise multidisciplinary teamsโ€”including medical staff, wellness specialists, wellness technicians, operations, marketing and sales โ€”fostering a high-performance, compliant environment.
  • Compliance & Safety Standards: Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, medical safety protocols, device maintenance schedules, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare marketing standards.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of executive operational leadership within a Clinic, Wellness Center, or Spa setting.
  • Startup Agility: Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced startup environmentsโ€”building operational infrastructure, scaling teams, and establishing systems from the ground up.
  • HR Leadership: Direct experience managing human resources processes, talent acquisition, labor compliance, and organizational development.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of directly driving revenue through marketing alignment, high-ticket sales strategies, and client acquisition/retention loops.
  • Technical & Industry Knowledge: Understanding of non-invasive aesthetic modalities, regenerative protocols, and advanced biohacking hardware.
  • Tech Acumen: Proficiency with CRMs, lead-tracking tools, and practice management/EHR software (e.g., GHL, Zenoti).
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Human Resources, or related field (MBA or Masterโ€™s preferred).
  • Availability: Be available and on-call 7 days a week (excluding scheduled vacations without internet or phone access).
