Job Title: Middle School Receptionist
Primary Role
The Middle School Receptionist provides essential clerical, communication, and security support for the daily operations of the school. This role greets visitors, manages student entry and attendance, and oversees visitor compliance through Safe Visitor scans. The Receptionist also supports athletics, transportation scheduling, and event preparation, including programs and award ceremonies. By maintaining organization, professionalism, and strong communication, the Middle School Receptionist helps ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-coordinated school environment.

Job Specific Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary office greeter, welcoming visitors, students, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Monitor door entry, manage student sign-in/sign-out, and process Safe Visitor scans for security compliance.
  • Assist with clerical duties including mail sorting, faxing, and maintaining the bell schedule.
  • Support attendance processes by assisting with calls and recordkeeping.
  • Track and distribute Chromebooks for students, maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide clerical support for athletics, including scheduling, communication, and event preparation.
  • Coordinate transportation needs for daily operations, event buses, and extracurricular activities.
  • Prepare programs for school events and awards ceremonies.
