Overview

Are you the go-to person who keeps everything running like a well-oiled machine? We’re looking for a Campus Administrative Assistant who thrives on organization, loves a good checklist, and can juggle calendars, communication, and campus details with ease. You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero helping our staff stay on track, events run smoothly, and our campus feel welcoming and well-managed. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and love creating systems that help people win—we’d love to have you on the team!

Responsibilities

  • Process benevolence requests as needed
  • Assist with the Pastor On Call Team responsible for pastoral care needs
  • Submit Event requests for campus specific events
  • Manage Rooms and Resources requests for the Orland Campus Team for room set up for events, meetings, and weekend needs
  • Utilize church database software so as to assist with reports, attendance, scheduling and record upkeep
  • Assist with coverage of the front desk in the absence of the receptionist
  • Provide administrative support for Orland Park Campus Team: Kids, Students, Guest Services and the Campus Pastor
  • Oversee administrative details for all outside events held at the Orland Park campus and serve as the staff point of contact for that event 
  • Utilize church database software to provide assistance and resources to the congregation as needed
  • Assist the Communications Team with print jobs weekly
  • Pack weekly shipments for each campus and distribute received Orland Park shipments to Orland team members
  • Assist with Orland Park Campus events as directed by the Orland Park Campus Pastor
  • Other duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor

Qualifications

  • To be considered for this position, you must have a testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, evidence of a desire to live a consistent Christian life with a mature Christian character and be committed to invest at Parkview as your home church.
  • Proven ability to organize, manage and utilize efficient processes, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Derives satisfaction from collaborating with and serving as part of a team
  • Passionate about learning new things
  • Administrative ability and skilled with details

Hours

The Administrative Assistant Position is 40 hours per week, on-site and primarily Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. This is a non-exempt position.  This position can flex weekday/weekend hours for occasional weekend needs.
