• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, to address clients' unique needs.
• Provide individual, group, couple, and family therapy sessions to facilitate healing and skill development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing EMR software.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support, integrating various treatment modalities where appropriate.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, webinars, and training sessions to keep abreast of the latest mental health research and best practices.

Our clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals and families struggling with a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. We seek an LPC who is committed to providing compassionate care and navigating the complexities of mental health alongside clients who may have limited access to traditional mental health resources.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in clinical counseling is necessary.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, demonstrating shared commitment to client outcomes.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related technologies.

• Specialization or significant experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working with underserved populations or in community health settings is a plus.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, dependent on experience and caseload management.
