Job description

✈️ Now Hiring: Production Planner | Aerospace Manufacturing

Sky Limit Systems is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer that designs and builds precision latching systems and assemblies for aircraft nacelles and airframes. Their products are trusted across commercial and military platforms, and they’re looking for a Production Planner who can help keep operations running efficiently and on schedule.

This full-time, onsite role reports to the Operations team and is perfect for someone who enjoys coordinating complex production activities, solving problems, and ensuring materials and schedules align in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate fulfillment of sales orders by ensuring materials and parts are available to meet production schedules
  • Analyze new orders to determine material requirements, availability, and lead times
  • Manage MRP data, track material allocations, and develop shipment plans with attention to shortages and recovery options
  • Expedite critical materials through suppliers and internal teams to meet delivery goals
  • Partner with production, supply chain, and procurement to resolve bottlenecks and align priorities
  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly shipment schedules and recovery plans to support business goals
  • Prepare performance and status reports, such as line-of-balance and milestone recovery updates

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred)
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems, production processes, and material planning principles
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive schedule adherence
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; APICS coursework or certification preferred
  • Experience with Avante or LN Aerospace ERP systems is a plus

Why This Opportunity:

This is a chance to join a team where precision and performance matter. You’ll play a critical role in supporting production flow, improving delivery performance, and ensuring high-quality components reach customers on time. If you’re detail-oriented, thrive under pressure, and take pride in keeping things moving, Sky Limit Systems wants to hear from you.
