Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a full-time Plant Manager to join our team!

The Plant Manager will be responsible for material handling, liquid processing, waste treatment, and the management of 15-20 people directly reporting to this role. They will oversee the efficient operation of all plant processes. The Manager will also ensure productivity targets are achieved, SOPs are followed, and all plant safety standards are adhered to and will be responsible for completing scheduled reports on time and reporting variances to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient operation of all plant processes
  • Responsible for our plant and all aspects of material handling, liquid processing, waste treatment, and the management of 15-20 people directly and indirectly reporting to this role
  • Ensure productivity targets are achieved, SOPs are followed, and all plant safety standards are adhered to
  • Responsible for completing scheduled reports on time and reporting variances to senior management
  • Handle all hiring, firing, and direct recruiting required to fill all plant positions
  • Possess a mechanical aptitude for pumps, hoses, air compressors, tankers and trucks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Five years of experience in a Management role
  • A clean driving record and the ability to drive company vehicles
  • The willingness to work in a greasy plant environment
  • Drug free lifestyle

This is an onsite role. Our Plant is located at 225 Sawyer avenue, Tonawanda, NY 14150

Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 - depending on experience

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:30pm and Saturday 9am-4:30pm

With over 20 years in business, we collect, and process used cooking oil to produce Biodiesel, a carbon reducing alternative fuel to Hydrocarbons. We operate in 15 States with service to over 27,000 locations and growing. Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is subject to and complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act.
