Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily manufacturing and production operations.
- Drive productivity, quality, safety, and delivery performance across the plant.
- Implement and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Manage workforce planning, staffing, training, and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and manufacturing best practices.
- Support new product introductions and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of manufacturing/production management experience.
- Prior experience in Wire Harness Manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with strong Manufacturing Engineering (ME) experience in a manufacturing environment will also be considered.
- Proven experience managing production teams and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wire harness manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Production planning, scheduling, and resource management expertise.
- Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and operational excellence practices.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance metrics (KPIs).
