Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Mempis, TN. Must be licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee Bar.


Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents and slip and fall cases
  • Conduct legal research and investigate claims to develop effective case strategies
  • Gather and analyze evidence to support clients' cases
  • Interview clients, witnesses, medical providers, and experts
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
  • Manage cases from intake through resolution, including litigation when necessary
  • Appear in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
  • Provide clients with regular case updates and legal guidance throughout the litigation process
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active admission and good standing with the State Bar
  • Experience handling personal injury cases
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating settlements and litigating cases
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law and civil procedure
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes
