Job description

JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading regional insurer seeking a Personal Injury Claims Consultant to join their growing organization. This role is ideal for an insurance professional with Personal injury protection claims experience or workers’ compensation and auto claims experience with exposure to medical terminology and injury-related claims handling. This role supports end-to-end claims handling, including investigations, reviewing medical records, and working with policyholders, attorneys, and medical providers to resolve claims quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of Personal injury protection or injury-related claims from intake through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate claims handling in accordance with company guidelines

• Review and evaluate medical records, bills, and treatment documentation to determine claim validity, coverage, and compensability

• Communicate with policyholders, attorneys, medical providers, and internal teams to gather information, provide updates, and support claim resolution

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Personal injury protection claims experience OR workers’ compensation and auto claims experience with exposure to medical terminology and injury-related claims handling

• Exposure to or familiarity with Independent Medical Exams (IMEs)
