Job description

Top-rated and high-volume firm in Glendale is seeking a Associate Attorney, full-time, motivated, and experienced bodily injury negotiator who can write demand letters, settle plaintiffs’ claims, and manage a team of case workers within their department (which the right candidate will be responsible for overseeing).

We are looking for a candidate with previous bodily injury claims experience – preferably handling and examining claims for car insurance companies or negotiating directly with these types of companies. All personal injury claim negotiation experience a plus – whether plaintiffs’ civil or defense side. Experience as an personal pre-lit injury attorney or a claims negotiator is welcome.

Some primary responsibilities include:

Negotiating personal injury cases against insurance companies
Supervising a three-person case manager team
Reviewing and submitting demand letters/packages
Negotiating settlements for various cases involving bodily injury (MVAs, premises liability, dog bites, etc.)
Negotiating liens with a variety of vendors (doctors, chiropractors, rehabilitation centers, etc.)
Direct client communication and support

Preferred skills and experience:

1-3 years of experience handling bodily injury/personal injury claims
Excellent demand, settlement, and negotiation skills
Detail oriented

Outstanding organizational skills
Effective employee management skills (will be overseeing three team members)

Able to handle a high volume of cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Someone who is eager to learn, grow, and excel in a family environment where employees are highly valued and treated with the utmost respect and professionalism

Bilingual Spanish is a plus
