Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Personal Injury Law Paralegal located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Paralegal will be responsible for various tasks, including preparing legal documents incouding pleadings qnd motions,, conducting legal research, organizing and reviewing case files, and assisting attorneys in trial preparation. Additional responsibilities include managing communication with clients, coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate and thorough case records.
Qualifications
At least three years experience with a New York perosnal injury law firm (or Corporation Counsel) either plaintiff or defense.
- Strong knowledge of law and legal processes, with an emphasis on personal injury and civil rights cases
- Strong writing skills and proficiency in legal writing including drafting motions.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact empathetically with clients and work collaboratively with a legal team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage and maintain case documentation
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification is preferred
